The Podcast Project engages students in creating a podcast for Government or Social Studies classes, but can be adapted for any subject. The project provides instructions for students on how to create, edit, and publish a podcast about a current social or political issue that is important for them. Symbols are powerful, and they represent many ideas important in our nation. This activity has students analyze and compare symbols in the United States, and then use Google Jamboard to create their own symbol that represents their ideas of our nation.
