Analogies are a powerful tool to help students understand and remember academic vocabulary. They can also be very challenging for the students to create.
This set provides a sample analogy for each term in the Describing Motion Digital Journal. Use it as a presentation for class discussion to get students started thinking, then print activity cards for the students to discuss and match in small groups before completing their digital journals assignment.
