This a template that can be used to help set up the process for converting fractions for addition/subtraction with an uncommon denominator. I laminate them and use them as a dry-erase template.

This graphic organizer can be used to guide students through the steps of converting an improper fraction to a mixed number. You can use colorful counting cubes as "Skittles" if need be!
