VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP! St. Patrick's Day in Mexico City!
This lesson looks at culture and brings the student into Mexico City on the day of a holiday. It allows the student to feel like they are there and experiencing it. This lesson also allows students to practice the language function 2nd conditionals (hypothetical 'if... then...' statements). This lesson is perfect for emerging and transitioning ELLs!

Teaching style
I like to break the teacher to student wall and allow students to have a voice and be heard in the classroom. Culture is a very hot topic in my classroom and students are free to express themselves freely with no judgements whatsoever. In addition, I try my best to teach towards students individual learning styles and strengths (kinesthetic, visual, auditory, etc.).
