Adding and subtracting integers practice

Simple transformation art including graphing triangles and line segments with translations and reflections.

8th grade card sort including transformations: dilations (with scale factors), rotations (clockwise and counter), reflections and translations. Students can then identify transformations that result in similar vs congruent figures. Extension included to graph using a dry erase marker.

This project allows students to apply their knowledge of ratios and proportions to complete a hands on project with application. Its super easy to grade, great practice and the most enjoyable project I do because students can express themselves with the project if they choose to.
