Bonny is a first grade teacher and is beginning her 28th year. Focusing on engaging children through creative teaching practices, she has a wealth of knowledge resulting in numerous teaching awards. She is also a published author in both adult and children's periodicals. Bonny has a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Utah State University and Southern Utah University.

Devri (Bonny's daughter) is a graphic designer, who also loves to draw, paint, and create other works of art. She graduated from Utah State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Bonny and her daughter teamed up and combined their talents for "It Takes Two".
