The activity is a matching practice where students find the answer to an one step inequality (all four operations are included, even negative numbers) and match it to the answer graphed on a number line. This is a complete activity for an introductory lesson, or to reinforce for struggling students.

This interactive 14 page document will introduce students to the concept of graphing inequalities on a number line. Several examples are included, a well as two interactive games. Print the pages and students can take notes directly on them, or students can take notes from the pages on the board. A warm-up of comparing numbers as well as placing integers on a number line is also included.

Teaching style
I believe students learn and retain information by practicing. Rather than doing boring worksheets, games and activities stimulate their brains and make them apply what they have learned to a new situation.

I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2006 with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I completed my master's degree in Special Education Leadership and Teaching from College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2011.
