Additional biographical information

Educational Philosophy “Children who are loved at home, come to school to learn; children who are not, come to school to be loved. – unknown author Passion is the one, most important quality for an educator to possess; you must genuinely enjoy what you do, and trust in your power. We are all innately curious as human beings, particularly as children and adolescents; meaning ALL children have an instinctive urge to explore and know. My job as an educator is to find innovative and engaging avenues through which to reach students in efforts to develop their academic knowledgebase, as well other skills necessary to be successful throughout life. Teaching is the only profession that creates all others; therefore it is critical that we, as educators, focus on individual and collective student growth and development because we truly shape the future.
