Career Lesson: Archaeologists & Hieroglyphics
I teach this lesson in my career classroom when we are discussing Archaeologists. We discuss what an archaeologists does, work environment, etc. We also discuss the history of hieroglyphics. Then students have to write the career title of the career they want to be - in hieroglyphics. To take it a step further, student have then create their own hieroglyphics symbols for each letter of the alphabet and use those symbols to write their name.
