This simple crafitivity includes all templates needed to make a probability gumball machine.
It uses some of the probability vocabulary: certain, likely, unlikely and impossible.
This activity is a great introduction to probability. Students create their gumball machine and then they can: color their gumballs accordingly, or get creative and represent their gumballs by drawing them, use pompoms, sequins… whatever they like!
It makes a great classroom display!

This fun and simple patterns craft includes cup template (use colored and thicker paper), pattern rule grid and whipped cream to name the rule. I put two copies of each, as I preferred keeping it size A5 for each child. It is a great activity to do with your students to reinforce number patterns, more concretely rule patterns.
