It's Basic Physics

This sheet allows students to research how electromagnetic waves are used in astronomy. It has QR codes that send students to websites which will help them research the EM waves. It is one page, front and back, with a rubric. Before this assignment, I introduce the structure of electromagnetic waves and show some images of nebula, planets and black holes in visible, infrared, uv and radio waves.

This is a review sheet similar to one-pager although it is 2 pages and it is a guided template for students to draw and write about the geocentric model, heliocentric model, Kepler's laws of planetary motion and Galileo's law of universal gravitation. I use this at the end of the unit and as a review for midterm exams. When printing, select "fit to printable area" for best results.
