Additional biographical information

I have a heart for first year teachers that have been "thrown" into physics for the first time, as I was once one of those. I am here to help. Even though I was a public school teacher and want to assist first year physics teachers, I also have a heart for homeschool parents as my sister homeschools her children. I know physics can be a challenge for homeschool parents and students. I want to use my background in physics to empower all learners, teachers and students, to have that sense of accomplishment as they learn a challenging subject. My favorite time of the school year was at the end. Not because it was time for summer break, but because it was a time for my students to reflect and celebrate their success. Many began the year intimidated simply looking over the physics formula sheet for the first time. At then end of the year they had so much pride in not understanding the physics language, but they learned and applied their knowledge comprehensively.
