I have taught in public schools for over 28 years. I have experience in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. I spent several years teaching bilingual and dual immersion classes, as well as ESL. I spent three years teaching Utah State University; working with pre-service teachers and teachers continuing their education on how to incorporate second language strategies into their classroom instruction.

This file contains colorful yellow flower petals to place around your classroom clock to help children with telling time. There are two sets of petals: one has just numbers preceded by a colon, and the other has the numbers along with the words to represent the time. There is also a stem and two leaves: one short one labeled hour, and one long one labeled minute.

I have a BS in Elementary Education, an MS in Instructional Leadership and Policy, and am working on a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction (with an emphasis in language and culture).
