Experience
This is my 14th year teaching:) I've taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and have been an early literacy coach coaching teachers in grades K-4 in literacy. I LOVE what I do.
Teaching style
I am completely all about student led learning, engaging the students' WHOLE bodies into the learning process through the use of chants and cheers, planning and teaching MEANINGFUL lessons so the students can connect to and understand the WHY, and connecting to prior knowledge as well as connecting cross curricular as much as possible. I also whole heartedly believe that, to be a teacher, you MUST be a life long learner and be willing to change or modify your teaching each day, each lesson, or each minute to best meet the needs of your students!

My own education history
I graduated from Penn State University in December, 2005 with my BS in Elementary Education. I then pursued and earned my masters degree in Education from St. Francis University in 2009.
