While completing my master's degree in entomology, I worked in a research laboratory. My focus was on host-plant resistance and I taught several undergraduate labs including a forensic entomology course. After graduating, I worked as a manager in agriculture. I learned so much over 5 years. I stepped away from the management role to pursue teaching. I have taught Chemistry, Integrated Physics & Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, Consumer Math, and 6th grade science. After my twins were born, I went home to homeschool my 4-year-old. Who knows where life will take me next, for now, I love creating curriculum and one day will probably step back into the classroom!
