Representation matters, and so does teacher well-being—because when we take care of ourselves, we show up as our best selves for our students. My resources emphasize: ✅ Differentiation – Every student learns differently, so I create materials that are adaptable and accessible. ✅ Engagement – Learning should be meaningful and fun! I use interactive and hands-on strategies to keep students motivated. ✅ Mindfulness & Wellness – Teaching (and learning) shouldn’t feel overwhelming. I'm a special education teacher who's passionate about equity, wellness, and innovative teaching. I've organized school-wide wellness events, presented at UOIT’s Tech Conference, co-created PD sessions, and partnered with PearDeck to enhance student engagement during the pandemic. With certifications as a Special Education Specialist, 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Meditation Instructor, and Reiki Master, I bring a holistic approach to education, supporting both student success and teacher well-being.
