About the store

Experience

This year marks my 6th year teaching Literature to 6-8 grades. I also have experience as a high school English & Journalism teacher.

Teaching style

I would consider myself a pretty energetic teacher who can get passionate about the content I teach. My classroom is very discussion-based, although I do sprinkle in some "bell ringer" type of activities to practice basic comprehension & writing skills.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Indiana University & my teaching license from Bethel College. I need 15 more credit hours for my Master's in Secondary Education.

Additional biographical information

I served as the Drama Club Director at my school for 2 years, so I have working knowledge of drama and production preparation.
