This is an Integrated lesson plan that incorporates social studies, language arts, math, and technology. I used these in centers but they could easily be split up to equal multiple whole group lessons.
Students draw a map, makes shapes, write a story and test their geometry skills.
I created this worksheet to be used in conjunction with story elements.Students can fill it in individually or as a group it is up to you! I created it for my third grade reading group. The topic of Realistic Fiction VS. Fantasy can be changed!!!
I created this script to go along with the Study Jams video "A Day on Earth" it is a fill in the blank script to help keep students enaged while watching the video. I play the video through once then a second time while they fill in the blanks. HOWEVER, do not show them the summary at the end. Instead I left space and instructions for them to come up with their own summary. You could then compare and see if any of the students came up with what the video said. Link to the video below.

This product is to help students understand/review the prevailing westerlies. My kiddos had a hard time with this. It has a description, where they happen and a visual for students to see where they occur. At the bottom is a blank space for students to respond to on "Why does the wind change direction?" I plan on having my students research this question write down a good explanation and then trade bookmarks and let their classmates review what they said and compare it to their own definition.
This a simple lesson plan template created for one subject. I teach math in 5th grade and could not find a good user-friendly template so I came up with this one!
Happy Planning!

Cut out the sort cards and have students place them in the correct category. You can laminate the cards to reuse and save time so students do not have to cut out the cards. Cards could be glued if you intend for students to keep them or to be used as an assessment.
