A Christmas readers theater adapted from The Grinch. Students can work on reading fluency, reading with expression, rhythm and rhyming schemes.

Students will decorate a pizza by using their knowledge of fractions. Students will choose how much of their pizza will be covered by each ingredient and represent that amount as a fraction. - The Fraction Pizza activity can easily be used as a station or independent activity.

This resource was designed to give an introduction to equivalent fractions using 3 lessons. Lesson 1 provides: - A hands-on activity where the students fold paper to view fractions equivalent to 1/2 - Discussion questions (think-pair-share, whole group, small group) - Opportunity for students to observe patterns within equivalent fractions. - Definition of equivalent - Challenge Question Lesson 2 provides: - Review of equivalent - Discussion questions (think-p
