Anchor chart, individual graphics, two pages of grids with rows and columns labeled.
My students are having a terrible time remembering the difference between rows and columns. I made this anchor chart and smaller ones to go in their Math Journals.

Use when teaching addition of multiple numbers.
How to play: Each player gets 15 markers. Roll 3 dice (or roll one die three times) and add those numbers. Cover that space with your marker. You can crash your partner’s color and take their space. If you cover a space with 2 markers stacked on top of each other, you LOCK that space and it can’t be bumped. If there is no open space with the number you need, you may put your marker on a picture. The player to use all of their markers first is the
Math review. This looks like four pages in the thumbnails, but it is actually three pages. It is not locked for editing, so feel free to make changes to suit your class.
1)Clip art flowers
2)Vases of flowers with poems (the poem that starts "I'm growing like a flower" I got from Tish on proteacher.net., A Mother's Garden is original and you are welcome to use it.)
3)Card with poem
4)Template for an acrostic poem
We usually play this with counters, but I thought my kids would enjoy Christmas pictures. I made boxes with Christmas items in them. The children have to count the total number of items in the box they choose. One player covers up some of the pictures with a piece of paper or hand. The other player must figure out how many items are covered by subtracting the number of items left from the total number.
Directions: Pick a line. Count how many items are on the line. That is your total number.
