About the store
Hey guys and gals! I am a public school educator with 16 years experience under my belt. I am currently teaching 4th grade again. I started as a long term sub in Pre-K in my district. The next school year I was hired on as a 3rd grade teacher. I spent 3 years doing that, then was asked to go to 4th grade. I did that for 6 years, and was ready for a change from the big kids to the littles. So, I moved to 1st grade for 3 years before being moved to 3rd again. But that was ok, because I have gotten to teach alongside my bestie since then! We were moved to 4th grade this school year, and it has been a good time since we got to go up with our kiddos from last year!! Looking forward to more fun in the future!

SEL Which mindset am I in?

The Owl, Bunny, and Dragon Brain infographic helps teachers and students recognize what part of the brain is “in charge” at any given moment and how that affects learning and behavior. When students are in their Owl Brain, they are calm and logical—ready to make decisions, solve problems, and learn new things. Use these to label your student file folders. I needed something I could easily see, so I created these. Print them on colored cardstock, cut apart, and adhere to the file folder.

ATLAS Read Aloud Tool Poster

Students need visual reminders for how to use the tools available during ATLAS testing. This visual shows how to get the tool to read the question or options to them for all tests, except reading of course. To make it poster size, I print it on tabloid (11 x17 inch) paper, then choose the poster option on my copy machine. I set it to print number of pages, then choose 4. When using tabloid size paper, it only prints on 2 pages, which is the exact size I prefer my posters. However, you could alwa

Additional biographical information

My name is Jessica Sharp, and I am a teacher in Arkansas. Until I came back to 3rd a few years ago, I taught in a self-contained environment. The last 4 years I have been departmentalized, and it has been very nice to be able to focus on just teaching writing. I teach all aspects of it, including phonics, morphology, and grammar, as well as the writing process. Outside of the classroom life, I have been married for 26 years, and Brian and I are the proud parents of two kiddos in their 20’s. As for Brian, he is in his 10th year as a PE teacher in Vilonia, and he loves it. We love to go to the movies together, love to play board games, and love to go on adventures together!
