About the store
I graduated from Rider University in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education/Psychology and a minor in English as a Second Language (ESL). After college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for two years, which helped me grow immensely as an educator. I have been a 4th grade teacher in a very diverse public school district in NJ since 2017, and I love it so much. I get to use both of my certifications (Elementary Education and ESL)! I also have years of Early Childhood Education experience due to my employment in a daycare for almost six years.

Standards Based Grading Gradebook--4th Grade Math

Created by
Jac-Jax
This is a Google Sheets gradebook for one quarter/trimester of math grades for standards based grading. There is a spot that labels the district's report card standard with the state standard, the assessments that go with that standard, and a place to put the students' grades.

I also have years of Early Childhood Education experience due to my employment in a daycare for almost six years.

Teaching style

I love to have my students learn in small group and/or in a hands on way as much as possible. I am an avid proponent of the Workshop method for all subjects when applicable. I utilize centers for math and follow a Balanced Literacy approach to ELA.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I graduated from the Baccalaureate Honors program at my college. I was also in the Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education in college.

My own education history

I grew up in NJ and attended private school from Pre-K through 12th grade. While I am very grateful for the education I received there, I knew I wanted to work in the public school district to help students who may not have the same opportunities. I've always been an avid reader and learner,
