This place value chart covers through the trillions place. It is especially helpful for students who have trouble identifying place value with larger numbers. I laminate this and students can copy numbers directly on the chart to see exactly what place value the digit is in as well as it's value. This works extremely well for the visual learner. T.his also works in conjunction with my PowerPoint lesson on "How to Find the Value of a Digit."
This product includes practice worksheets that can be used for guided and/or independent practice. This resource was created to make it easy to differentiate among your learners by providing the option of printing with or without grids. Additionally, differentiation can be accomplished by providing worksheets with or without regrouping.
I laminate this and students write the number on the chart. This helps them to see the place value as well as the value of the number. Students also use this to align the addition/subtraction problems when they need to write out the problem by stacking.
This product is used in my classroom for my struggling students who still don't fully grasp the concept of subtraction. Using the chart and sort activity has helped them to be able to solve subtraction problems. The chart can be laminated and enlarged to be used as an anchor chart or it can be copied and used for students to use as a resource at their work area.
