Teaching style

I believe the beauty of art is in the act of creating. The most important thing is that I enjoy the creative process. To know that it is not always about the outcome, it can sometimes be about the simple act of trying. Art is striving to get better artistically and hopefully become a better being in the process. Creating can be something you make for yourself and inevitably; you are hiding your soul in the work without knowing it. It can also be what you make so others may relate to those ideas or feelings from your soul to be viewed publicly. I hope that every student I teach will continue in this direction to create and grow artistically. I witness much strength and soul-bearing in all the different media created and I am proud to be a witness to what we create as a community.
