This is a performance task about the expenses of living on our own! Students calculate monthly expenses for 6 months (I taught my students the Zeros Trick), then sum up how much it costs altogether. Students then extend their knowledge and budget $100 to spend wisely on fun activities. Last but not least, students get to decorate their own one-bedroom apt! Lots of math and tons of fun!
