Monster Maker

Created by
Jacob Reddish
Get your students excited to practice multiplication with the Monster Maker! Students create their own monsters through the use of multiplication facts and their own creativity. This was a huge hit when I taught fourth and fifth grade, and is perfect for a station or an activity to do if a student finishes his/her work early. Students will need dice and colored pencils for this activity.

Award of Academic Excellence in Master's Program

My own education history

In 2007 Jacob graduated from St. Bonaventure University's highly esteemed and nationally accredited Elementary Education program. His hard work during college allowed him to graduate with two New York teaching certifications, one in Elementary Education and the other in Special Education. A year after earning his Bachelor's Degree, Jacob earned his Master's Degree in Education. He was recognized by the Department of Education as having earned the "Award of Academic Excellence" in the graduate program. While working towards his Master's Degree, Jacob held technology courses for faculty and students on campus.

Additional biographical information

Throughout college Jacob logged hours as an elementary school tutor at local after school programs. After college he began working in schools full time. Throughout the years Jacob tutored students after school via Palm Beach School District's Accelerated Academic Achievement (AAA) tutoring program. Jacob also tutored students on Saturdays to help prepare students for the standardized FCAT tests that nearly all students in Florida must take. Seeing a need for experienced and skilled tutors in the community, Jacob is making tutoring his full time role in education.
