Your students will become landscapers with this mini project, designed for creativity and application of geometry skills! Provide students with a polygon of your choice, and let them go to work! They will use a materials list to select materials to landscape a backyard (their polygon). There are so many ways to differentiate this lesson: Provide irregular polygons to advanced students, provide polygons on graph paper for struggling students, have students include a patio, and the list goes on!
