About the store

Experience

I have taught elementary school for over 18 years in three states. My Master's degree is in the Art of Teaching. Currently I have completed all of the coursework for my Gifted endorsement and completing my practicum.

Teaching style

I am a facilitator, crafting activities for students to practice and demonstrate their mastery of the standards of learning. I lecture less and less as I get older, realizing that students have much more fun when they are actively engaged in learning. I love to incorporate technology into my lessons whenever possible. This engages students and opens up a rich world of pictures, diagrams movie clips, games and activities which produce high yield results.
