This is a short Power Point that lets students practice how to use an index. A sample index is provided with multiple choice questions on each slide. The final slide asks students to write an answer. This is a good practice for second grade students on using an index.

This is a simple game that can be used with any fairy tale. Students draw a card and have to identify the element within the fairy tale they just read. This game is a great review for elements of fairy tales and is also a good activity to leave for a sub.

This is a non linear Power Point presentation that quizzes students on the Dewey sections of the library. Students can take the Dewey Decimal quiz on their own at a computer station or this can be used as a whole group assessment.
