Understanding My Character This character study activity assists students in identifying unique characteristics about a favorite story character. Students are challenged to take notice of what their character "sees, does, feels, and thinks". Created to use with character traits unit of study. May also be useful as a pre-writing activity for character development.

This simple layout gives your young elementary students an opportunity to create their own business. A fun addition when studying goods and services! Students will build a business based on their interest. Naming their business, identifying customers, and listing business goals help them get started!

This simple story map is great for younger elementary students to use as a reader's response during literacy rotations (Daily 5). Students can complete the story map independently or in pairs, groups, or whole class.

This simple foldable allows students to see the different forms a single number can take. Cut down the middle of the paper, place a thin line of glue under the objective, and clip the short lines between each square. Students should then use the space beneath to write a digit representation, the word form, and a simple picture of their number. Great for interactive math notebooks!

Writing Process This file include four signs to help students track their writing through the writing process (Prewriting, Writing, Revising & Editing, Publishing).
