Teaching style

My teaching style is clear, intentional, and student-centred. I value lessons that actively engage students while remaining purposeful and easy to implement. The resources I create are designed to support a variety of instructional approaches — from active, hands-on learning to more reflective, independent practice — while remaining easy for teachers to implement. My teaching style is intentional, student-centred, and responsive. I value lessons that actively engage students while remaining purposeful and easy to implement. The resources I create are designed to support multiple instructional approaches, including whole-group instruction, small-group work, and independent practice, allowing teachers to adapt materials to suit their classroom context. JAM Education materials aim to balance engagement with clarity, helping students focus on learning goals while supporting meaningful participation.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Some of my proudest teaching moments come from seeing students who initially lacked confidence engage meaningfully with content when lessons are clear and thoughtfully scaffolded. Creating resources that allow all learners to access the same learning goals — without stigma or extra work for the teacher — continues to be a guiding focus of my work.

My own education history

My background in education has supported a strong understanding of curriculum expectations, instructional design, and inclusive classroom practices. I prioritize curriculum alignment, clear learning goals, and practical classroom application in every resource I create.
