Students simulate what it would be like to be a rock in the rock cycle. Randomly assign students to a starting location. Students roll a die to determine their next destination. Each student travels on their own through 15 rolls of the die recording each change on the student data sheet. I would suggest printing multiple station description papers for each type of rock. Kids LOVE this activity!!
This puzzle contains THREE phrases about the types of rocks in the rock cycle. Below each column is a list of letters that fits in one of the open boxes for each row in the column.
