Have early finishers? Kids that need extension activities? Here is a project I give my kids. Usually there is one extension activity per Mid Grading period. (4 quarters, 2 midterms in each quarter, 8 extensions for the year). I typically use this as the first one and tell the kids to research 7th grade vocabulary. Rubric included.
