About the store
Ten years ago, I began my adventure as a teacher. The majority of my teaching experience took place in pre-k and 3rd grade as a Title I teacher, however, I have also taught at many other grade levels.
<br /><br />
I still remember the nervousness as I walked into the classroom and how exhausted I felt at the end of my first week. I wanted to excel in the classroom but I didn’t have the energy to spend my nights and weekends creating every single activity for my students. TeachersPayTeachers truly saved me during that first year.
<br /><br />
As years went on, I honed in on my skills and found that I still relied on Teachers Pay Teachers for a portion of my classroom decor and activities. However, I started to create some things of my own.
<br /><br />
My most recent teaching position at a charter school gave me the freedom to be able to concentrate on my creativity skills for activities, lessons, classroom management, fundraisers and more.
<br /><br />
My passion is in developing classroom resources that will allow for learning and engagement for a variety of diverse learners.
<br /><br />
My mission is to give educators the tools to create a classroom environment where both teachers and students are able to thrive and grow as learners.
