This checklist was adapted for the Virginia Standards of Learning and includes necessary standards for the state in English. Teachers can use the checklist to ensure that they are covering or reviewing the mandatory skill sets.

Use this document as a checklist or guide as you are planning, drafting, and finalizing individualize education plans. Note: Individual school districts may have alternative forms or variations of these processes. Check with you district for differences.
