Fantastic and fun opportunity for students to engage in using the Depth & Complexity icons of patterns and rules. Just print out, enter 1 number, and have the students fill in the rest of the number puzzle (using a hundreds chart). Can be used for students who are able to use higher numbers...or reversely, go into the negative numbers. Students can then identify patterns and certain rules that apply (GATE) after completing the number puzzle.
A great tool to display for your primary learners. This showcases the concept of Place Value, up to the Hundreds Place, including pictorial (100's squares, 10-sticks, and ones) and numerical representation.
A rhythmic tool used to help students understand the elements of maps and mapping. Some of the components included are Compass Rose, directions, land forms, legend/key. Perfect for my students (or yours) when learning about Earth Sciences and mapping!
