This product contains a PowerPoint with simple, clear instruction about the process of cell division, including interphase, mitosis, and cytokinesis. It shows the step by step process with words and pictures without a lot of extraneous information. I use it with my 9-12 grade Biology students. It includes the PowerPoint, guided notes, and assessment questions to follow the lesson.

This is a PowerPoint on mineral identification. It clearly instructs students about the different minerals and the tests used to identify them. I have also included guided notes to accompany the PowerPoint as well as vocabulary and assessment questions to follow the lesson. This lesson and assessment questions could be completed in one 60 minute class period. I also have a follow-up lab (not included, but able to be uploaded for free) that will allow students to practice the skills they learned.

This is a simple lab sheet meant to accompany mineral samples, following instruction on identifying minerals. It asks the student to identify a sample based on its appearance, streak color, luster, scratch test, and Moh's scale of hardness. One or more of these lab sheets could be completed in a single class period.
