au and aw word work. Students read the passage 3 times. Each time they read they can color in one puppy. There are 3 comprehension questions, one document has fill in the blank and the other is open. At the bottom, students write the words from the passage that contain the aw and au pattern. I have my students highlight the au and aw words prior to reading. I use this at my Word Work small group station.

Students come up with three character traits to describe Juliette Gordon Low and then explain how she demonstrates those traits.
