This map can be used as part of a digital assignment or can be used as an assessment where students have to identify the name of the place being identified by number.
This is a blank map of South America that contains instructions and blanks necessary for turning the it into a physical map of South America. Includes instructions to label major landforms, bodies of water, etc., as well as coloring instructions.
This activity instructs students to build a color-coded map key based on poverty rate data provided for countries in South America. In addition, students are tasked with taking the data and using it to construct a bar chart. Detailed instructions are provided for students.
This is an information and notes sheet pertaining to the zones of latitude and important lines of latitude. In my class, this diagram was displayed and the smartboard and students were instructed to recreate this diagram as shown.
This is a map activity in which students are instructed to label each of the provinces and a few of the major bodies of water within Canada. Students are given instructions detailing the names of everything they should label as well as instructions to color neatly once done with all of the labeling.
This is a diagram I included on my slides when introducing students to the major lines of latitude. One activity I used this for was simply projecting it on the smartboard and having students recreate the diagram themselves on a sheet of printing paper. Students then were able to use this diagram as a reference as we progressed towards a test.
