This is a great way for students to practice creating equivalent fractions. - Use the simplified fraction in the center of the flower to begin. - Students write their equivalent fractions on the flower petals. - Color, cut and place on a pipe cleaner to add an extra touch. - Display around your room! Once completed...have students create their own "Fraction Flower" garden by ordering their flowers from least to greatest (or vice versa).
