Java Tank

Students will create/color 1-2 African country’s flag and find the information required to present that flag in class. The design of the flag will need colored pencils/markers. The flag will take up the entire side of a blank sheet of printer paper.

The objective of the ongoing current events assignment is for students to practice reading informative passages/texts, to gain knowledge of events taking place in our country and the world. Through this knowledge students will practice asking the right questions and create constructive summaries of important issues

Students will research cultural, geographic, and historical information about a variety of countries in Latin America. Through their research of the terms they will gain a better understanding of Latin American values and traditions.
