We will discuss worry, stress, and how to manage them both. Worry will be both defined and explained.Things to remember along with how stress and worry are linked together.What can be done about stress and the stressors in our lives. Let's take a look at how we can protect our environment and recycle. You can expect students to learn the following: Recycling with be defined along with the 3 R's.The meaning of the recycling symbol.Emphasis on reduce, reuse, and recycle.Students will be able to brainstorm what can be recycled comparing it to a short list.Identify what cannot be recycled and where to recycle.Ways for students to start or continue to recycle and help our environment.A glance at several STEM careers listed.
It is important for tweens and teens to be able to understand that their mood does change quite often. Maintain or continuing a fitness routine is important for adolescents. You will find the following information: Ideas and suggestions for fitness such as: Couch to 5K, yoga, using one's own body weight, and jumping rope.Step Challenge - taking at least 10,000 steps per day for health and how to boost your step count. Being able to set up incentives, mixing up routine by trying something new, hiking, being outdoors, and the plank will be emphasized.
