On the first worksheet, students count and write the number for each set of objects and then circle the set that is greater than the other set. On the second worksheet, students count and write the number for each set of objects and then circle the set that is less than the other set. They can color the pictures after they have completed the worksheets.
A perfect craft for the Holidays to teach children about 2-Dimensional shapes. Each page consists of multiple shapes, for convenient copying and cutting. The shapes may be cut out before hand for an easier project or the students can cut their own shapes out.
A cute end of the year activity for any grade. I made a bulletin board that says "Soaring into 1st grade" with all of the students hot-air balloons. Place the students picture into the hot-air balloon as if they are waving good bye. The writing prompt may be changed to suit the grade level of students.
