About the store
Hi there! I’m a BC‑certified teacher with more than fourteen years of classroom experience and a background in Inclusive Education from Queens College. I’ve taught Beginning and Intermediate ELL both in a BC accredited international school and during two years of teaching in Busan, South Korea. Those experiences helped me understand what it really feels like to learn a new language and what kinds of supports make the biggest difference. Currently, as a secondary-school LST teacher, I work with students who have special designations. I spend my days adapting resources, breaking down big ideas, and figuring out how to make content accessible for a wide range of learning styles. This meaningful work has shaped the way I create materials for other teachers: clear, flexible, supportive, and ready-to-use. My main areas of focus are Language Arts and English, Social Studies, and Inclusive Education. I believe in building real relationships with students, helping them understand how they learn, and making school feel meaningful by connecting it to real life. Every student learns in their own way and at their own pace, and our job is to meet them where they are. Everything I create for TPT is designed with those ideas in mind. My goal is to offer resources that save teachers time, support diverse learners, and help classrooms feel welcoming, inclusive, and engaging. It's great to meet you!

Teaching style

I like to teach basics first and build from there. It's important that students are able to comfortably reach the stepping stones of education before being expected to achieve a goal. I like to tie my lessons into a real-world context so that students are able to make connections between their life and vocabulary or key objectives taught in class. Also, imagination and creativity are key to meaningful learning!

My own education history
