Senate Simulation

This is a senate simulation that allows students to experience how the senate functions and how bills become laws. Students will write their own bill and speech, debate, and vote on bills that they would like to see become a law, while following along with parliamentary procedures. This simulation is great for small, medium, or large class sizes. It can also be used in general, alternative, and special education classes.

Teaching style

I employ a wide variety of strategies in each of my units to help meet the different modalities of learning. I also enjoy activities that allow my students to show who they are and what they believe in their work. It is important for me to get to know who they are, so we can build better relationships in the classroom.
