Worksheet with 8 small readings and space for students to draw their visualizations. I realized many of my students were struggling to visual with any detail, so I wanted to see what they were visualization.

Included in this is a lesson plan, worksheet, sources--everything needed for a lesson where students act as if they are traveling with the Donner Party to California. Great for 4th grade students in California, aligns with one of the history social studies standards. My kids loved this and could have spent a lot more than an hour discussing what items to keep and what to get rid of. It led to a great discussion using critical thinking where the students explained why they eliminated certain item

This is a project I made for my ELD class, but it could be used in any class to practice listening and speaking. It asks the students to research a location for a trip, figure out the cost to get there, the weather, activities, and what they would bring.
