I am an accomplished Multilingual Learner Educator with over a decade of experience as an ESL teacher in public schools in New Jersey and New York. I have dedicated my career to supporting multilingual learners (MLs) of every grade level, from K-12 students to adult learners. In my current role as an ML Specialist in a public school district in NJ- at the elementary and middle school level, I have continued to make a significant impact on the academic and personal growth of MLs. I am highly skilled at developing and implementing effective instructional strategies, collaborating with colleagues and families, and advocating for the needs of MLs. Throughout my career, I have earned numerous accolades for my contributions to the field of Multilingual Learner Education. I am known for my expertise in language acquisition, cultural competence, and instructional design. I am also highly active in professional development and have presented at conferences and workshops on a range of topics related to MLs and language learning. This past year, I was elected as the Elementary ESL Special Interest Group Representative on NJTESOL-NJBE’s Executive Board. Overall, I am a highly skilled and dedicated Multilingual Learner Educator who is committed to making a difference in the lives of MLs. My passion for language learning and education is evident in all that I do, and I am a truly focused on serving MLs.
