This is a fun, creative way to teach letter writing to youngsters at Halloween. It’s great for learning how to respond to questions in a letter, identifying problems, and coming up with solutions. It’s great for 1st and 2nd graders. There are 27 pages for you to use, 11 of which needed for the actual project. This meets CCSS W 1.5, W 2.4, and W 2.5.
These are amazing bookmarks to help your students study spelling and vocabulary words throughout the week. I use them in Centers, for class assignments, and for study games. We keep them in our consumable book each week then take them home the day before our tests. I print them back to back on colored cardstock.
Often times a student does something that doesn't warrant a trip to the principal, but you need the student to understand their behavior needs to change. I came up with the DOC system. My cohorts and I have extra desks in side rooms with these papers pre printed. If I ask a student to go "DOC" themselves in another classroom, the other teacher automatically knows the student needs to fill this out before they return to my class. I keep it in their file and use it for conferences :)
I print this page every year, then put in a few blank pages for the children to get autographs. Fold in half and there you go!
