This is the outline for a tshirt project over Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. I used this for an end of book activity. The students did awesome with it.

This is a worksheet I use at the beginning of the year. Most of the time the students are unsuccessful following the directions and complete the entire worksheet, but we all have a good laugh and its a GREAT way for me to stress the importance of following ALL directions.

I give this letter to students to take home to their parents on the first day they are in my room. The parents sign and return this. This has been a great tool for me because parents know exactly what I expect and cannot argue they didn't know an expectation or consequence.

This is a great Math review game for State Testing.

African American history is a very important area of study for my fourth grade students. I have used this project during the month of February and March for several years. The students really enjoy the integration of Art. I have also used this same project for Women's Studies, Inventors, Characters from books etc. Please feel free to adapt accordingly.

I give this letter to my parents at Open House. It reemphasizes the rules and procedures which they have already been notified of at the beginning of school.
