This is a spelling test paper used weekly in my classroom. Saves time on numbering 1-20 and the primary lines help students practice their handwriting too! I used this with dolch word lists which have 20 words per list. Students write the list number at the top.
This product was used as an ELA center. Students read the word on the paint sample and fill in words that mean almost the same thing but are slightly different. (Shades of meaning) On the back, they were to choose 1 word and write 3 sentences to show that they understand how the severity if the meaning changes.

This product was used as an advanced level ELA center, but you could easily use pieces and parts to differentiate. Print cards onto card stock or construction paper and laminate. Students were to read each word and sort them according to the correct long vowel. Y as in fly (long i) and Y as in funny (long e). Writing in response to accompany Reading Street's Then and Now big book story. The first few pages are time order words used to sort under the categories of Then and Now.
